Segway "Tours & Walkabouts"

Introducing the great new way to enjoy your holiday on Gran Canaria. See the grin burst on your face as you slalom along the pavement on an electro-powered Segway i2! In less than five minutes you can be trained up and ready to use one of our Segways, safely and comfortably. Expect to smile your head off straight away! And don't worry if you are not super fit. Segway is so easy to use that the only two prerequisites are that you can climb the stairs by yourself and you are over 12 years of age and weigh between 45kg and 115kg.
There are two different packages on offer. The basic one we call Holiday World "Walkabouts". It's an afternoon indoor gliding session happening within the Holiday World Leisure Centre and lasting 20-25 minutes. For those more adventurous of you we also offer morning "Maspalomas Segway Tours" of the Maspalomas area. These are excursions approximately 12 kilometers long taking you to the beach and beyond and guaranteed to give you one stunning experience to remember.
Whether you opt for a "Walkabout"or a "Tour"there will be an instructor to guide you along the way.

Welcome to Gran Canaria, (well, not yet, you are still at home). Basically, this beautiful Spanish island is floating some 200 kilometers off the shores of Africa and is part of the same continent, but somehow... we are still in Europe.. I think.

Probably the best weather in the civilized part of the world, great friendly people, pure untouched nature and olden times story about low prices, did make this island one of the best holiday destinations in Europe ... and it still is!

On these pages you will find much interesting information but this is not some commercial site or any guide with restaurant listings or suchlike. Read ABOUT section.

Besides 4-5 millions of tourists that arrive and hopefully leave this island every year, on this island you can find a bunch of folks, c/a 600.000. They are mostly nice, friendly people that have their own rich culture and tradition, so please try to respect them as they try to respect you. They are working, while you are drinking and noisy, and they are not on holiday.

And finally, Rambo, outside of the beach area, put that T-shirt on as we are not as interested in your biceps as your girlfriend is...
